LOL. Your reply is to this question:

"You didn't even answer my examples listed, you just say the above "put V on a range". I'm saying a lot of times if we get AK or QQ, we pop it 5 or 6 BBs, see a 3+ way flop of...

AXXss or KXXss with AK
J9Xss or T8Xss with QQ+

Pot is $100, we have $400 behind, checks to us, we c bet $75 ish... do you fold these spots vs a jam?"

You should go into politics as good as you are at dodging direct questions about specific situations.

But keep in mind that not everyone play the same game.
the thing is to do what the math of the game says is best which is independent of the players

mathematically, 100BBs is not an optimum stack size because the odds are going to play your hand for you on rivers, there just isn't that much of a skill edge because you usually can't call turns without being committed on rivers. This is why a 50BB stack is better because turns play themselves and you only have to play pre and flop before you can slam the money in. There isn't a way to get stacks in on the turn at 100BBs, and then when you get to the river the hand plays itself.

Consequently, I don't play any table where the min BI is 100. There isn't enough of an edge for a good player.

However, one game that I love that we play at home is mandatory 50BB BI. Then it's a cool all in fest for a little while and the fish can get lucky.

Is this a giant level?

Best advice itt.

Buying in short with add on ready is never a bad idea if you enter a game of unknowns. I agree.

Where I play there is almost always a bunch of stations with one or two nits and one decent player. Also there is no rake either as rake is illegal in my city

This is easy.

You will find some games and opponents are better played with a short stack, assuming YOU can properly exploit them with good short stack play. Some games just cry for a big stack that has the chance of doubling through the moron(s), assuming you can competently play a big stack.

You cannot take chips off the table so .... buy the minimum. Check out the game. Buy more if that's correct.

I'm one of the best 30bb stack players I've ever seen. The correct strategy is fairly simple and the big stacks have very little defense when they must contend with other big stacks AND me. I also win a decent % of pots PF when there is no rake.

I buy up to the maximum in any situation where someone at the table has exhibited the ability to blow up. I don't want to give up my chance to harvest those chips in one pot.

Where do you play that has NO RAKE? I guess if it is only private "home" games then I can see how, but I've never heard of a Casino or Dog track card room with no rake.
