Short-handed turn spot

2am home game winding down. Only 3 left.

Villain 1 sb (~500) he is a 30 yo male, overplays hands, this is probably 6-7 time he's played and the first time he's been winning this late (in for 200). He seems content but is still gambling. Hinting that he wants to quit soon. Drunk level 7/10. Very obvious player, level 1.

Villain 2 bb (300) 30 yo male hosts game. An overall decent player, prone to tilt when it's not his night. Very loose passive vs hero. Defending 90%+. Fairly sober.

Hero button (~500) been running well at this game over the past 5 months. On this night I'm in 400, up a little and pretty drunk. Staying because of v1. Been caught bluffing on a decent sized river bet, which is extremely rare in this game. By far the tightest of us 3.

V1 and v2 have been straddling buttons for 20 over the past few rounds. Hero has not. Blinds have been raised from 1/2 to 2/4.

Hero opens button to 15 w/ 83cc. Both call.
Flop(45) 8x2s3s checks to hero bets 35, v1 calls, v2 folds.
Turn(115) 8x2s3s..Ax. V1 checks, hero 70, v1 snap shoves...

Hero ... ?

Re: Short-handed turn spot

First, why raise so low pre on a bluff when both V's are extremely capable of a call with anything?

Second, this is a call all day and twice on Sunday from your profiles. I'm sorry you lost against a donked ace but there's lots of Ax and draws in his range here.

I'm ok with folding.

Is he really just shipping Ax here? He's got 2pr, set, or 45 more than Ax IMO.

^how can V put us on 83s? He's shoving for value on draws. Otherwise he's extracting value IMO

Re: Short-handed turn spot

It seems that V1 wouldn't want to get stacked here being up and ready to quit. Plus he didn't really think about sizing or what you have. So could very well have it.

call 380 to win 635 = need 38% equity to call.

Re: Short-handed turn spot

I think you've gotta find a fold here. If not, I would expect to see 45, Ax for two pair, AcXc for a pair + FD. Aside from the FD+pair, you're behind all of his made hands and could be very well drawing to just two outs.

V winning for the first time is also useful information. Further, considering the lateness of the hour and his mention that he will be leaving soon I would highly discount bluffs from his range.

Unless you have a soul-read otherwise, find the muck. You're supposed to get bluffed sometimes, you'd be much poorer if you never did.

Results: hero tanks and folds. V shows A8.
