Wow this thread went flying off the rails.
I think the idea of losing some of your stack to make more later is dumb and only justifies making bad plays.
Although I haven't tried it myself, I think there is some merit to showing bluffs when your natural game is value based and the targets at the table are calling stations. It also has the added benefit of inducing tilt in the right spots. However, I wouldn't advise this at a table where there are a number of players who can use the information you show against you.

Yeah just to go back to the original idea; you dont need to 3 barrel 72o knowing your opponent is going to call just so you can show 72o and impress the table. Just make some bluffs, hope they work out, and eventually you're going to get caught, or at least be in enough pots that people will recognize you as being LAG.
If you want to build a loose image, then play loose. You dont have to play ******ed just to get people to notice you are playing loose.
