$1-$2 NL Cash Game

New poker room for me. All new faces. I have played a few orbits and noticed a general loose-passiveness of most players.

UTG limps - MP limps - HJ limps - CO limps - BTN raises to $10
Hero has JJ in the SB and calls - UTG calls - MP folds - HJ calls - CO calls

Pot = $54
5 Players

Flop: KQJ
Hero bets $50 - UTG calls - HJ folds - CO calls - BTN folds
Pot = $204
3 Players

Turn: 9
Hero ???

Remaining relevant stack sizes:
UTG = $160
CO = $145

Being out of position in a large pot against multiple opponents on a dangerous board is not comfortable.
What should I do on this turn?
Please advise

Check and evaluate.

Please, 3b pre. Flatting here is really bad.

Flop is fine, i’d go 45-48. 92% pot is huge

3bet pre. I tend to check/ship flop.

Turn is horrible, I don't know what to do now. Guess I check and see what happens. Probably calling it off because two pairs may well figure they are good when we check.

I agree with most of the above, except i think almost potting it otf is fine. Especially with the pfr acting last, as people might check to the raiser. There is a myriad of hands that call, many of which will not bet, and some can improve to second best. Let's get that pot boiling.

The turn blows. My first thought is check and read but i think this is wrong unless you fold a fair amount. If you check call you pay off the straights, let the fds and aces draw free and probably get less value from 2 pairs.

If this is true, should we just be shipping ourselves?

I agree that Button's preflop range is likely quite wide here, and I am usually ahead of everyone. How big do we make our 3bet?

In this situation, where do we draw the line on what hands we wish to 3bet?
Do we also 3bet with 88-TT as well?

Thanks for the feedback.

I like to give people a chance to take it away from me sometimes. Checking now, our line looks a lot like the way bad players act with top pair weak kicker trying to find out where it's at.

There's another street we can act on if it checks through.

$35 sounds good. I 3bet TT here and overcall 88/99.

Prob 3 bet tt+ for value. You could argue for 99 though obv we are getting into semibluff territory.

It's a somewhat peculiar spot with the button raising so small over so many limpers. You could certainly make semi bluffish raises with hands like and AJ, KQ as well. You could also expand that to suited aces.

88 and lower I'm set mining six ways and occasionally flopping overpairs and leading.

Agree 3b pre, also agree that the bet sizing on the flop is fine.

As far as the turn card, you got just about the worst card in the deck. I understand the merits for calling here, but 3-ways in a random 1/2 game I don't think I'm x/c'ing here if someone shoves. I'm just hoping this somehow miraculously checks through and the board pairs. There are times to be nitty, and this may be one of them (you said they seem passive).
