I have a lot of nit tendencies but I've been improving since I read hands all the time in this forum and I thank you guys.

they bolted like cats. I made the minimum. You guys are 100% right. The maniacs may be maniacs but they know that I'm not a maniac. On that day I got pretty decent cards so did not look like a middle-aged coffee guy.

Yet when I'm card dead I look like an uber nit. I've improved my image in the last 3 months though. They no longer think aces or kings when I reraise but rather 10s Jacks or something that would embarrass the great players for my lack of gamble. I'm listening to you guys. I'm opening now in the cutoff, button, hijack with QJ which i never did before. I also open with 2 face cards and small pairs. I'm doing better.

The nit thing is tough to shake. I'm very friendly, talkative, even silly at the table...but I'm also sober and serious about the cards. Noobs like me, but everyone notices that I have no heart for pre-flop bluffs with trash like J2, 10/3, 7/3, 93, Q2 (I-Ron hand) or the other stuff. I'm improving but I'm still a weak sister among you guys. The results are there. It's been a good year but I can do better.

Yeah I like the 15 open. I used to do it but experience a long run where everyone folded to my raises. Usually 10-12 is the bet in my game. I guess their folding to a 99 open is an okay result though.

The lesson here is to lead out next time, and don't check raise in that position.
