What a night high hands 500 every 15 min I have a entry 4 drawings at 5 7 9 11 for 5000!!! Settle in at 330 started at 3. Buy in max 300 1/2. Everyone at 250-600. Lots of regs all either big raise or limp. I’m stealing pots c betting being aggressive folding to aggression up 60-75 1st1.5 hr. Card dead next hr lots of limping down bag to 285. Made a bad call hit a high nut flush with gut shot slight vs 2 pair. Siting at 580 3 hrs in. I talked it out and made I’m sure a bad call and got lucky. I’m not much for math but 3 hrs in missed so many straights and flushes. I said it’s coming and bam bingo.

3 hrs later all new players still at 530 in front. Table was being raised more by 1 good player who got sucked out on doubling up a new guy to the table who was now at least 625 on to the hand.

I’m one off the button v1 utg who doubled up raise to 17
Fold fold fold to guy he beat reraise to 45 I look down at Akss. I decide to call
V1 calls 3 way to flop 135 pot 10s 3s 5h
v1 check v2 check I bet 85 v1 calls v 2 fold.
Turn Qd. Real quick he’s all in for 465 covering me.
I have nut flush or a j for the gutshot straight.i tank show him my cards try to get reaction 7 hrs in I can still fold still be up 50-60. Still tanking high hands are over I’m ready to go. He calls clock on me never has this happened before to me. Floor guy says 1 min 10 sec countdown. I call A on river didn’t help and I’m felted.
One player said I made a terrible call I didnt have the odds to continue and should have folded. I think to myself I should have reraied pre flop and taken the 33 that was out there. Or never called the all in and waited for a better hand

Thoughts?

I am sure you can do the math and see that it was a bad call. You need to take the emotion out of your decisions. Being up or down for a session should never impact your current decision. If you want to improve and make more money playing this game, you have to realize that the players that win $ make superior decisions more of the time than others. Profitable players capitalize on mistakes from the Villains.
