When would you guys tend to go with the all in semi bluff or just call when playing AXs from late position. In all the scenarios you are playing 1-2 live and have a stack of $100.

You have As 6s and are last to act

A. Early position opens for $10 and gets 3 or callers including yourself. Flop comes Js 8s 2c and the raiser bets $30 into a pot of $43. Everyone else folds and now its your turn.

B. Same scenario as A but the flop comes As 8s 2c

C. Some one limps from early position and position, and gets 3 callers. Flop comes Ts 9s 4h. One of the players before you takes a stab at the pot betting $10 into a pot of $11.

D. Same scenario as C but the flop comes Ts 9s Ah.

This is a limit forum, but I'd suggest buying in with more than $100.

Scenario B contains two As.

I would not semi-bluff A or B. You're offering bettor 3:1 to call, so he's not folding a better hand. I would raise B for value, assuming Villain calls worse.

A) I'd need a read to shove. I think this is the closest decision of them all.

B) unpossible

C) I'd call and hope others call too.

D) I'd call and hope others call too.

D) this is the limit forum.

I like 70 big blinds to start. But that's cus I suck deepstacked. 70 gives me a chance to get some wins under my belt before I hit my threshold of 200 big blinds.

we need to be deep when playing AXs this way but in general it's burning money.
fold it unless it's a limped pot.

Hand 1: Folding preflop after a raise, stacks are not deep enough to set mine let alone flush mine. On flop, it depends on what I know about villain, if they can fold an over pair or are likely to c-bet air then shoving is fine, if they are stationary nit who almost always has the over pair and will call then folding is best because hero isn't getting odds to chase.

Hand 2: Fold pre also. When your playing A-rag suited your looking for something better then 25-1 on your money, with a $100 your barely deep enough to limp these hands. The board is impossible, but if it's Ac8s2s the situation is actually worse then hand one. On that sort of board it's less likely villain is c-betting air, they are more likely to have a big AX. This makes them more likely to call your shove and your likely to have fewer outs when you are called.

Hand 3+4, both are call and hope you hit. Both boards are too draw happy to expect to get villain to fold when they bet the flop. Villain is likely to put you on some sort of draw and thus you won't have much FE if you raise. If you just call you are likely to have some other villains with weak hands and draws come along and improve your odds.
