Statistically I don't see any reason why you wouldn't be right, but I fear that the people calling the shots will behave like the people ITT who are more liberal on the issue and will say to keep things shut down and wear masks even if the pandemic is ruled to be over.

Wednesday I went to my first bar in 5 months with the chamber of anti-vaxxers. At one point Drunk woman pulled my mask off; turns out she was just trying to spite her current bf on the patio. I deserve the coronaids.

As of a week ago, people of my olds were scheduled for the vax in July/Aug here, but that has now been amped up to May. So pretty decent progress.

Yeah, there does seem to be odd arbitrary line jumping here too, but it isn't as if a line jumper vax is wasted plus it also protects non-vax'ed (by helping stem the spread). So whatever, imo, let's just get this done ASAP.

I don't understand the difference if there's still a mandate until June 1st? Does this just mean I don't have to wear a mask for indoor private gatherings now? Ok, I didn't need permission, lol. If I still need to wear a mask to the grocery store literally nothing has changed for me.

I don't understand it at all. They haven't came out with explicit rules yet. I know July 1 no one has to wear a mask, but I'm not sure how it's gonna work up until then.

Heard Vegas is done with masks and social distancing, so that's great. I don't see any way Michigan doesn't let 100% capacity at football games this fall.

Seeing at least 4-5 Covid positive patients per 12 hour shift in my Emergency Department lately. Had 9 Friday night. Mostly old, some young, all unvaccinated. Haven't yet seen a vaccinated person get admitted, although I'm told it happens.

It was maybe 1 or 2, maybe none per shift as recently as a month ago.

Glad to hear Michigan isn't planning on implementing any more covid mandates. I'm vaccinated and I will never wear a mask again unless the place I'm going requires them.
