1/3 live.

Hero ($800)Hero has been at the table for maybe an hour. Has been fairly active. Got the money from another table that broke.

V1 ( BB $300) is unknown 60's AA male. New to the game. Seems like a quiet nitty ish type of guy.

V2 (MP $2,000 ish) late 20's white male. Seems like a decent player but is playing a ton of hands and splashing around a bit since he's on, what I gather from the table talk, is an insane heater. For example, he called off a 3 bet shove for like 125 with like 56s after only putting in 15. Most of his post flop play and been reasonable but definitely aggressive.

V2 opens to 15, I opt to flat TT and BB calls.

Pot:42

Flop and turn check through. Board is KQ9r-4r-J So I river the second nuts and block the nuts.

v1 leads for 35, v2 snap raises to 225. Hero? As funny as it sounds I'm slightly more worried about V1 than v2. I'm trying to think how wide v1 is betting for value here.

I'm sitting there thinking for about 20 seconds when BB announces all in out of turn. Hero? At this point I opted to fold.

Snap fold to the $225.

You're calling to chop at best and have no money invested in the hand; Fold. It's so highly unlikely that there's a bet and a huge raise in front of you and neither has as least 10x, even with you heavily the blocking the 10s.

Easy fold. You're telling me you won't find a better spot? Why go to war over a small pot?

I'm a live playing newb, is BB obligated to go all in , even though he acted out of turn?

Ps, Fold.

Pot is small, no reason to do anything but fold here, with or without the BB acting out of turn. Trying to catch a bluff in this spot seems unnecessary, and there's no reason to think you are winning any more than half the pot here.

In most rooms, as long as action is unchanged, action out of turn stands. The only way op could change action (currently $225) would be to raise.

If op flats the $225, action is unchanged, and bb must go all in.

That said, it is very important to get a floor involved immediately in these situations. You need him to confirm the ruling before you act.

All of this is you wish to continue...if you are just folding then fold.

You want to pay $225 to win $15 a very large % of the time?

Congrats on blocking the nuts, but that doesn't make it impossible for someone to have AT

This hand would be more interesting if there was postflop action and we actually had a vested interest in the pot

I get a lot more than $15 if I win. The EV of the decision also doesn't rest on the sunk costs.

This is like the easiest fold with the second nuts ever.

So why not buy $225 in lotto tickets? If you win that you win WAY more $$$$$$$$$$$$$

Results: I folded, V2 snap mucked, and V1 showed AT for the nuts.
