300 eff
7h8h OTB; UTG straddle ( loose player); couple players limp in front of me for 4

I open to 17 OTB; maybe this is too loose? the BB and UTG straddle are both loose players that will call pretty wide so i am fine with playing a pot IP against them with a perceived range advantage

Haven't really gotten out of line up to this point so i can rep a strong range post flop as long as i don't get re-raised pre

As expected , the BB and UTG player call my 17 and a player in MP calls as well

4 way to the F: 642(2 clubs) ($70)

BB leads for 27 , and it is folded to me ; BB has roughly 200 behind;

Hero? I'll let you know how i played this spot , just wanna see what people think about this flop decision?

thanks for any feedback

Hand plays better with a higher SPR. You will probably make just as much $ if you bink this hand in a limped pot then you will in a raised pot. Also gives you a tad more FE to semibluff when there is higher SPR.

Trying to outmuscle and bully loose players preflop with SCs is a losing strategy.

Flop is a raise or fold. Cant go wrong taking a conservative approach and folding since this guy is going to fold only a small portion of his range.

AP I would jam and hate myself for getting into such a high variance/ marginal spot. I really hate bluffing a perceived bad player with potentially only 4 cleans outs. But there is a decent chance our 8 and 7 (non clubs) are live. Or all of the 8 and 7's are live if we are up against 6x, and 6x will probably fold to a jam so we gotta go for it. 77-99 could fold (prolly 50% frequency)

V will ofcourse call with 33 and hold and I promise myself never to bluff at 1/2 ever again.

Just limp along pre. Your hand doesn't have enough raw equity to iso and stacks are too shallow. Suited connectors are overrated.

Snap fold flop.

Given the blind tendencies, just call pre to keep IO high. Raise is too small, there is already $15 in the pot … at least $25.

AP, if the donk has a fold button, raise flop. Otherwise fold, which is what I'd likely choose. Do you have backdoor hearts?

no I don't have back door hearts;

I raised roughly 100 more here on the flop , I don't think that I have to jam here, I want to make it look like I want to get called and play for stacks, as if I have an OP

+1.

If you're going to iso, raise bigger.
