Losing to quads twice in one day took a nice hit to my bankroll, also within the same sessions (played 2) in the same day I paid off shorter stacks with pocket qq both times they had kk lol variance did come my way on some nice pots that day but man... limped a2 in 1/2 nl ehh.. 6 ways and flop is 226 old man fat plays pocket 66 and gets me for like 300, last one limped pot 6ways with pocket 66 this time for me flop is 445 checks to old man stabbing bets 25 I call to look for a 6 probally too loose but if you were their you would call to so stfu turn 6 I check he checks money goes in on river ..... flips over 44 like ahh I mean I really was hoping to see 54 the way he called but 44 lol nice hand sir

Not reading the whole post because you started with 'losing to quads twice', well maybe you played the hands badly, who knows?

This is a strat forum, if you want to complain about poker being mean to you, the place for that is BBV.

One thing you may consider, if losing $x is going to tilt you, take a lesser amount to the casino that you can cope with losing in a day. Like my day's roll is $1200, reason is I know if I burn through more than $1K, I'm just not going to be playing my A game after that point. I'm guessing after you lost to quads twice, you felt that the cards were unfair, well that's a good time to go home and come back another day.

I did end up reading it, QQ<KK to short stacks, and boats < quads sounds standard. The guys I've over-setted/quadded/straight flushed mostly looked pretty sick about it as well.
