Raising range from SB with straddle and limpers

1/3 7 handed.
Not an overly aggressive table. My raises usually get limpers to fold.
What should my raising range look like when I’m in SB facing a $6 straddle and 2 or 3 limpers?
I’m tempted to go as wide as all suited A’s ATo+, KQ, a few suited connectors and pairs 99+.
It really sucks playing multi way OOP so I’m going to be using a pretty large sizing. At least $40. Is my range way too wide here? I’m guessing in theory I should be pretty tight here but there is so much dead money. I haven’t seen anyone trying to be tricky and limp a monster yet

Since I hate playing OOP, from the SB, I'm very tight as the first raiser. However, my range isn't fixed. It depends on who is in, what my current image is and how I'm running. It could be AK, QQ+ and it could be AT+, 88+. Depends.

With your range I like a 5x $30 raise, need to give the straddler a bad price to call with too many hands and our range is still decently wide enough, yet we could still play it well OOP

What sort of stack sizes are you looking at? Since your going to have to raise big SPR is not going to be big if your called. If people are going to be committed on the flop with any pair it can make squeezing unprofitable.
Mostly though I think the range you are suggesting is too wide unless the table is particularly weak. You make get everybody to fold now but if you start trying to squeeze with that wide of range you won't get folds and people will start limping some strong hands.
The thing to remember is that your going to be over betting the pot, so your risking more then what is currently in the pot. You will need to take it down a lot just to break even in the long run.
How wide a range can be profitable? Depends on the table. I have seen tables weak enough to make that sort of play profitable but not many.

5x is way too small. 4bb + 1bb per limper + 1bb for being oop
I play much wider than the population here and that range is significantly wider than I would use. AJo+ A5s ATs+ 77+ KQo, KJs+, QJs is going to be it. Suited connecters are trash oop with low sprs so don't do that for sure

In general raising big over a bunch of limpers to make them fold will not be a super profitable bluff spot. (Preflop we’re overbetting as QuadJ pointed out). If I’m going to raise large over a bunch of limpers, it’s going to be with the main goal of setting up a favorable postflop situation, i.e., I’ll be in position with a stronger range than them in a larger pot.
