Raise or overlimp on the button in a fully limped pot

I play in a 2/5 home game and I'm trying to figure out the best play for the button in a fully limped pot. My raising range is 99+, AQ+. This typically creates a 2 to 4 SPR pot if called after a pot size raise. I'm wondering if this range is too snug. The game is typically home game passive with little chance of being 3 bet. Does anyone have any thoughts?

When you get multiple limpers to you otb raising is more or less useless unless you are raising to say 50ish. People rarely limp fold in low stakes

What range of hands do you think they typically limp/call raises with? Separate that range into a top half and bottom half and raise with a range that you'd consider slightly tighter than the top half and that is your value raising range.
