Raise-fold river?

7 handed @ 5/5NL
Table super tight and passive aside fish; no 3betting or fighting back

Super drunk fish limp utg (VPIP 80%+, totally incoherent)
Hero has 64cc mp 25 [1.5k]
Sb (super ABC TAG; 18/15; 1k) bb and limp call
Flop 6dJc8c [100]
x,x, x, H checks
Turn Jh
sb leads 75, fold, fold, call HU
River 9c [250]
SB 180, Hero?

How is my line overall?
Raise or flat? Sizing? Can we raise-fold?

Re: Raise-fold river?

Pre seems marginal but if its such a tight table ok
surely have to bet flop, pair + fd has boatloads of equity and you're in position against tight players
Does abc tag semibluff post at all?
If you don't think he leads turn with any draws, you could r/f to 450 to get called by Jx
But don't mind a call on this paired board vs this sizing

Re: Raise-fold river?

Flop check is horrible, as played turn is probably closer to a fold than a call

river raise seems a little thin though i dont hate it

Re: Raise-fold river?

pre is way too loose, just overcall and realize your equity vs the fish postflop since you are unlikely to be raised pre according to your read.

Fold to the turn lead he is repping a much better hand than yours and bet big into 3 other people.

Agree flop check is bad and so is turn call. River I'm just calling. Not sure what raising accomplishes.

Kind of an interesting spot...do not think it is an auto cbet here OTF. Would like to hear other opinions though. I just think we have tons of other hands which would benefit more form a bet OTF.

Don't mind putting this into our checking range. Not trying to play a super bloated pot with our hand. Are we ready to play for stacks if we get raised on a board that smashes calling ranges?

How does it smash calling ranges were last to act? Bet cause we can get folds, turn our equity, get free river. If we get c/r so what just fold to bigger sizes. Will be rare.

Don't expect a lot of folds from preflop calling ranges on this flop texture, so why bloat the pot 4 ways? You can check and take your free turn card.

I really don't see the need to bet here in this particular spot 4 ways. Just saying that I see merit to checking this.

Re: Raise-fold river?

We are in the middle of our range and would have a hand that can make decent equity i see no reason to cbet into multiple people and not be able to realize our equity cheaply.

Re: Raise-fold river?

Lead flop most of the time , check sometimes , being in position likely means I would lead about 90% of the time , turn is a bad card to barrel in general, you would get played back at alot in most tougher games , as you mention quote passive table I still would not fire turn, try to Bink the river , when he leads for close to pot I would just flat here, but you know your opponents best , if you think he would never play back unless he has you beat then I guess I can get behind raise-fold line ,,,, maybe $425ish

Re: Raise-fold river?

Flop check is fine, hypothetically imagine if flop went 6-8 ways. Betting is pretty horrible last to act. 4-ways betting against loose passives is fine and a straightforward TAG, but checking isn't a bad option either.

river snap call, 0 value in raising. Tight reg's flatting range vs a 5x iso is fairly well-defined, most likely PP/suited aces/strong suited broadways.
