Ending scene to Rumble in the Bronx. The first Jackie Chan movie that showed in US theatres.

Good chart as they embodied the stereotypes as well as any teen flic. I think B52s is on the wrong girl.

SIAP but the GOAT MUTE was the SuperBowl when CAZ muted the entire National Anthem of Lady Gargle.

Hey Garick or Venice, can I poast up some 6-max app hands in LLSNL in the meantime now that 9-handed is no longer the norm in live poker and not as many hands are being posted?

Willing to change stack and pot sizes across all streets to match 2/5 and refer to V’s accordingly as well (loose passive, tight passive, tight aggressive, loose aggressive, nitty, maniacal, etc.)

a lot of these hands emulate the live dynamic far more than online (given they’re played on an app) so I think some of them are better suited for this forum. I’ve been posting them all in micro stakes recently.

In a word, no.

The dynamics are different. While one could argue that the technical knowledge of a 5nl player might be the same as a 2/5 player, there's a huge difference between jamming $10 and $1000, even though the number of BB are the same. The type of reads are different. They just are never going to play the same. The fact you see them as the same is an indication of the information you are still missing.

Years ago, discussion of online micro hands and online hands were in one forum. They were split because the discussions for each were so different.

Keep posting them in the online poker forums.

That's outright cheating and not ok.

Not arguing that it’s not cheating, but to play in really spectacular lineups, sometimes you have to put up with things that are out of line. What goes down in the game I play in isn’t as blatant as what you’re laying out, but they do chop pots when it gets heads up. And to get it heads up from time to time there are some suspicious plays.

If you’re not ok with it , no judgment from me and it’s totally understandable. But I’ve made the decision that it’s still worth it for me to sit in the game.

Okay, cool.

Just for the record, these are mostly 100nl hands. Have jammed $200-500+ on several occasions online.

I don't see them as the same. To clarify, I was trying to say on a spectrum of 100nl stars in 2020, and 2/5 live in 2020-- 100nl pokerbros is much more comparable to 2/5 live, despite obviously being more difficult. For one, significantly higher % of humans mixing it up (together or otherwise) in the pb games than on traditional online sites..

It's clear that more people in LLSNL play (or used to play) on bros than in the microstakes forum, so thought it couldn't hurt to ask.

No worries though!

Did not know the Numan connection, but Cars is literally the only thing I know about him anyway.

Did Television actually get any airplay in USA#1? They got zero airplay up here iirc, so I just don't see how the AMH character could be into them (so Cars / Hall & Oates / etc. are great pics because they were plastered all over the radio).

Lol @ cats.

My cat is usually pretty good on my messy man desk in my man room, typically just lounging on everything and preventing me access to it. But every once and a while she gets it into her head that things must go on the floor.

how can a world class nit like you have a messy desk? You're supposed to have all your documents signed, OCR'd, tagged for topics/content, and logged in a database

If I had the time / inclination I'd prefer a non-messy desk, but I don't. Most of the mess are in the forms of ToDo issues / etc. of tasks that I eventually need to find the time to get done.

This is his home office. At work, his desk may be littered with old TPS reports, but they all have cover sheets on them.

What a tilting night.

I get stuck early on running bad, then at the end of the night we raise the stakes and I play this super bad reg 3-handed, with the only other guy playing way too nitty so I'm basically playing the bad reg HU. I own him super hard, calling down and raising all over his bluffs and getting him to spew when I have a big hand. Finally he gets sick of me and calls off his stack on the turn vs me waaaaay behind in a big pot. Of course he spikes the river with his last money and then proceeds to sun run all over me for the next 2 hours.

What should have been an easy 5-figure win is an annoying loss.

Probably would have had a better night if you scooped up an extra meat and guac chipotle burrito to jerk off with and then eat before bed. Just sayin’.

Best hand I had:

$10/25. I open button to $75 with T8. He 3-bets SB to $375. BB folds. I call.

Flop 733 (pot $775)

He bets $500. I call.

Turn 3 (pot $1775)

He bets $1000. I call.

River 6 (pot $3775)

He bets $2000 with $3000 behind. I jam it in and he folds.

Not standard by any means but I felt pretty good about my read (he was over-bluffing here and didn't have enough value combos). How the hell did I lose to this guy? Rhetorical question, he gii bad and won.

Are TPS reports real or just an Office Space thing?

I have a pretty clean office desk, usually just a pen with a couple of pieces of paper with scribbled temporary notes (along with the typical computer / screen / phone accessories). Do the millenials really do things paperless? I don't think I could live that way.

I'm not a millenial, but the last time I used paper in a work setting was in the military.

I keep hearing that we went paperless in 2017 but haven't gone a year without driving across the city @4:45 because someone needs a piece of paper with words on it by 5.
