I had two Americanos in London years back cause I thought that was what an american should order to get an american style coffee.
It was not.
Fwiw: Now that i'm working from home, we are back to our old cusinart grind and brew. Great coffee, but had gotten shelved in my daily commute to manhatten by Starbucks, and the occasional Keurig at home. Much better coffee than k-cup. Much more economical than take away, and no trash.
If I can keep wfh and never have to commute to manhatten for work again, Covid would be doing me a favor.
