Taking each whiskey neat and as an old fashioned with orange angostura bitters.

Eagle rare neat: oh damn, that's some sweet and syrupy bourbon with mild pleasant charcoal.

Eagle Rare old fashioned: glorious. Drinking orange peel syrup in here. Could drink this all night.

Four roses SB neat: tastes a little cinnamon and mild vanilla. Pretty much no charcoal flavor. Tastes very thin after the eagle rare.

Four roses SB old fashioned: really can taste the cinnamon now. The spicyness is interesting and I would love as an one time apertif but I don't think I could go the distance on this like I would with Eagle rare.

when all said and done I logged around 34k hands which isn't really a lot. I was definitely upside down on my 75/25-95/5 spots.

The Rittenhouse Rye is caramel and cream up front with a bit of a white pepper finish.

I typically drink bourbon or scotch, but this makes me want to try more ryes.

Still think the eagle rare is #1 though.

I highly recommend Pikesville. I don't think it will disappoint. You should also consider Knob Creek Cask Strength.

Bros was brutal today but could have been worse. Got into 4 200bb+ puts as a heavy favorite. Villain asked to RIT on all 4. Lost on all 4 on first run out; 3/4 on runner runner.

I pop big (forget exact amount but makes it a trivial shove for BB). SB wtf calls. BB only calls and UTG wtf shoves for his remainder. All call.
