I just watched the movie Sixteen Candles for the first time. I found it very rapey, racist, and homophobic. I had no clue chick flicks were this badass back in the 80s!

If you liked that, then you should check out American History X.

Has all the same stuff.

Hmm, I was thinking more along the lines of the movie Kids.

Last night I watched The Hateful Eight and tonight Sixteen Candles. Tomorrow, Pretty in Pink. I hope it doesn't offend me because my 2020 self just can't handle how terrible everyone was back in the 1980s (not to mention the 1870s).

You're all out of wack man. The Magnificent Sevenshould come before the Hateful Eight.

The original Magnificent Seven was just a cheap knockoff of Seven Samurai. I assumed the new one was no better. When I was watching Hateful Eight I pondered what other western I should watch and the first movie that came into my head was Brokeback Mountain.

I never knew you got little trophies when they close your table.

Yeah you can go find out who won the awards for your previous tables. Pretty sure biggest winner and richest are always the same though.

Watching Spy reenact my year in hell is regrettable. I regret I cannot switch on the sadism a few others have.

I never finish it. Of course when I find it on tv it's always 1 hour in.

I don't know if any classic film works according to current norms.

yeah but like i said, if you're aim is passive income in the restaurant business, anything other than franchise is suicide

No such thing as passive income in the restaurant business unless you are part of an investment group buying pieces of operations-nothing like what 67 would be doing

My ex was a Jr. associate working on a case where the client was a large producer of chicken. She had to spend time on their floor and watch all the training videos etc. She refused to eat chicken for maybe a year, and got mad whenever I would eat it in front of her lol.

Side note: apparently every single floor in the company was slightly greasy and she quickly learned not to wear heels while there.

Does this indicate escape from the basement?

Lulz... There are currently 7.8 birrion people that are trying to think of ways to generate passive income. Vanishingly few have succeeded.

But, yeah, 67 should definitely buy a fast food franchise and a money counter. It will be super easy, barely an inconvenience.

Yup exactly. You're not making any profit on these things unless you got a cheap location, lots of traffic and you're doing everything yourself. The numbers don't make any sense.

That same day I saw how hot dogs get made. THAT was gross.

Actually no. Still waiting for the result (apparently a backlog at the lab because of a couple breakouts in the northern part of Saskatchewan has tests getting expedited to other testing sites).

But we're optimistic.
