You should try telling me what the difference is between a convection oven and an air fryer, other than one having way better marketing.

The fan is stronger in a smaller space so the convective effect is higher and the heat source is closer so the radiant effect is higher.

The basic mechanism is the same but the appliances are fundamentally different, as I wrote before.

K. Doesn't sound "fundamentally different" to me. Just sounds smaller. Not saying that will make no difference at all, but I don't consider a round grill and a barrel-shaped grill fundamentally different either.

There is separate temp control.

Instructions basically say for air fryer use mesh tray, put up top, crank temp.

If the convection <-> air fryer settings do sumthin different i havent nailed what it is yet.

Convrction with temp cranked heats up stuff wicked fast wicked hot.

Air fryer setting does a decent job makes edible stuff not quite as good as real frying or bbq, but i think that is to be expected??

I season, light spray with vegetable oil then bread crumbs...

Just until SPC does the 5k air fried wing challenge where she pedals the cooking fan herself blowing heat from the active volcano she biked up, and down into,while holding a convection oven in her teeth. Ever the loyal partner, squid brings the can of olive oil spray while following behind in his Land Rover.

Welp lost $70K at poker last night.

Not gonna lie, I feel a little sick. More than my biggest win, this is unacceptable. $100K win probably coming within the next 2 months. That's how it always goes.
