I figured McGregor should have been like a 40 to 1 underdog vs Floyd so I suppose Logan Paul should be 40 to 1 or worse. However, I'm not sure how the huge discrepancy in size could play a factor.

I keep thinking back to the exhibition match between Oscar De la Hoya (5'10", 160lbs, 71 inch reach) vs Shaq (7'1", 325lbs, 91 inch reach). IIRC, De la Hoya won easily, but Shaq had a nice showing and couldn't have been that huge of a dog. There was seemingly no way for De La Hoya to hurt Shaq though. That was more of a fun exhibition though and not serious business like this.

Floyd lacks power, but I have to imagine he has a lot of experience training with guy's Logan's size because otherwise how could he have confidence to take this match. Even with little power I imagine it's likely that Floyd drops Logan with a bodyshot, of course after spending the entire match dancing around, running track, and picking him apart as he pleases.

Bet the house on Jake Paul. He's boxing former UFC Champion Tyron Woodley (WW Champion from 2016 to 2019). Jake is Logan's younger brother and has like 16 Million Instagram followers and more than 20 Million YouTube followers. Despite all that, he's only a -125 favorite vs Twood so this is an auto-smash must bet fight.

The Pauls are the Kardashians of boxing.

That’s not even remotely complimentary.

I don't have the balls to put the house on it but will wager $10k to $20k on Jake Paul if the odds remain favorable.

Fwiw my bet is a draw, there’s no judges.

They aren’t just “social media ******”. Both those dudes fight well. Very well.

Like they’d absolutely **** house any random person are way better than like local boxers also.

Obviously they aren’t top tier Ryan Garcia type pros, but those dudes can fight.

Dude went 8 rounds with mayweather. How can you think that’s not a legit boxer?

Actually, with no judges I assume you can only win the bet via stoppage which makes that a really good safe bet because a large percentage of the time Floyd is just going to outpoint him (and there would have been no way for Logan to win a decision barring bad judging).

Logan didn't land much but he did about as well as one could hope for. In round 2 I was calling for him to start tying up Floyd and leaning on him and that's exactly what he did from round 3 on.

Floyd is an extremely cautious fighter and that was on full display tonight. There were points in the match where he was throwing nothing at all and was just waiting for the perfect opening where he could land clean on Paul without being countered.

i was really impressed at flloyd just keeping his guard up while logan just throws like 7-8 absolute bombs that seemingly do nothing.

**** floyd is good at defense fam.

Isn’t he kind of considered the best defensive boxer of all time? That shoulder forward stance is maddening to watch. I can’t imagine what it’s like to fight against.

only by people for whom ‘all time’ starts with Mike Tyson and even then I’d go Pernell Whitaker and maybe even Bernard Hopkins

AT is Henry Armstrong and Ray Robinson tho

Floyd was predicting he would make between $50 million and $100 million total for this fight. He said he made $30 million for the lead-up to the fight. Not sure how that works but he is supposed to be getting $10 million guaranteed plus 50% of PPV buys.

My guess is that this is not that big of a PPV. The gate couldn't have been that great considering how many open seats there were, although they were dumb enough to hold it in a NFL stadium rather than an arena.

My buddy bought a late 90s Viper for like $30k and the Ferrari/Lambo types love to stop and talk to him about it. They pretty much treat him like he's one of them.

Did you ever watch On The Waterfront?

Spoiler:

We decided to pass on that one.

Those both having boring exteriors compared to an AC Cobra.

I recently watched the TV show "The Prisoner" (an all-time great show) and because of that I think the Lotus Seven is cool as hell too. I'm not sure why these British cars are so open though. Doesn't it rain all the time there? Ditto for driving a sports car in Seattle.

Yeah, driving a Triumph convertible in the rain, even with top up and windows closed, is approx as wet as riding a Triumph motorcycle.
