Legit did not prepare with primer cuz (a) didn't care enough for the job and (b) last time I did primer I found it an incredibly unenjoyable time suck.

I cooked tacos for three good friends of mine. They said they were really good. I was like yea why would I make you nasty tacos? They asked for seconds and thirds so that was good. Carne asada and spicy refried beans ftw. Add in cilantro, onions and radish- I’m a freakin chef now

Wife and I were both too tired after a long day the other night to do anything for dinner other than hop in the car and have a local fast food adventure. Randomly ended up at a KFC / Taco Bell drive thru so in spite of my better judgement I decided to have Taco Bell for literally the first time in my life. I was... underwhelmed.

That is to say, it was literally the worst tacos I've had in my life. The "hard shell" ones were all soft/mushy at the bottom and the skinniest I've ever seen. And the soft shell "big" steak one I got was lol small, mushy covered with some random drippings of some weak sauce, and had like 2mm worth of steak in there. It was only good for the comedy cuz wife and I laughed pretty hard.

As a staunch Taco Bell supporter for several decades I will readily admit there is substantial variation between locations.

Lucky you didn't die from losing your Taco Bell virginity.

Losing the double decker supreme, that had been a menu staple for decades, was a travesty.

On the plus side, we did get to sit awkwardly for several minutes attempting to not make eye contact with the guy dumpster diving beside the drive thru.

To me it seems like only dif between the double decker and CGC is that the CGC uses melted chess between hard and soft taco while the DD uses beans

Many moons ago I had a contract in Woodland. Don't recall any food trucks, but I remember a barbeque place that had really good beef ribs and top-notch pork ribs.
