he flatted a 215 4bet pre, and he has a good flop for all of his over pairs but unfortunatly we have the NFD so just jam to maximize (any possible) FE. If we didn't have the FD I would just fold (and would 4bete alil less pre).

4b is too big. unless i had a read he was capable of 3betting light i just flat the 3b.

as played easy jam you have less than pot left. cant imagine he will ever fold a pair but if he folds 2 live cards thats a victory for you. and maybe he will punt and c/f a pair anyway.

My first thought was jam the flop.

But then later I was thinking he’s likely calling the jam with any over pair, so should I bet less in the hope that any non-paired hands will call?

sometimes people fold overpairs if they think you have AA, if even theyve already committed a lot of their stack.

I prefer calling preflop since they overcall 4bets due to the tight 3bet ranges. As played just jam to get him off AK.

Shove

He doesn't have a ton of unpaired hands in his range calling that size pre. You block the most likely. I struggle to think of many unpaired hands that got here that are sensitive to your sizing now. There would have to be enough of them to offset the value you lose when a club or over card (to his PPs) comes and he folds turn

Now that we are here, shove is a no-brainer. 4bet is too big, and I might have flatted the 3bet, but who knows w/o reads?

Your stack is less than the pot. just jam. You block hands like AK, AQ that you're chopping or ahead of. If he's got something like QQ, then you're still 50%. You'll mkae life hard on that hand anyways. He's probably not smart enough to fold and playing something like 1010 or JJ. Just don't expect that much rational play here. Calling that pre-flop sets up this bad situation for them.

Kind of a weird hand. The eff. stack depth is awkward to 4B pre. I think we should either flat the 3B or just jam for max fold equity. Likewise, vs this 4B size, V should just fold or jam, I'd think.

As played, nothing to do but jam flop. If you're up against an over-pair, you'll have 14 or 15 outs, plus you've got the back-door wheel draw. You're actually a reasonable favorite.

It's interesting that V flat called pre and then checked this flop. I wouldn't be surprised if he has AK here a lot. We could be free-rolling against every AK combo that isn't AKss.
