I have a fancy counter top appliance. It has a multi function switch bake toast roast convection air fryer.
As far as i can tell the fan works same in both settings
There is separate temp control.
Instructions basically say for air fryer use mesh tray, put up top, crank temp.
If the convection <-> air fryer settings do sumthin different i havent nailed what it is yet.
Convrction with temp cranked heats up stuff wicked fast wicked hot.
Air fryer setting does a decent job makes edible stuff not quite as good as real frying or bbq, but i think that is to be expected??
I season, light spray with vegetable oil then bread crumbs...
