My buddy just lost a bid. Same deal. winner was 25% over list price. Waved inspections and covered half the sellers costs. Insane.

I paid the same price they paid for it in 2006 when it was built, so I'll just keep the smart title to myself.

Houses like mine (same age, same lot size, same house size) in the next neighborhood over go for 75 to 85% more than I paid for my house. Ditto for new houses in my neighborhood.
