So, i'm from NY. Got a ticket in south carolina on I-95. 87 in a 70. 175$ 4 points. Haven't gotten a ticket in years so no other points....

Do I just pay this and eat the points? Do I pay an s.c. atty a few hundo to no guarentee get it reduced (likely same fine, fewer points). I do not need to appear either way.

No idea how points affect insurance etc, not even certain they transfer to home state though usually they do...

I've folded KK preflop correctly and incorrectly before.

One time I was just about to fold my kings but they were still in my hands and my opponent (who was in seat 9, I was in seat 1), a tight grinder, showed me his aces to get me to fold. Pot was like $600, and we each had like $1300+ behind. I later discovered he was having bankroll issues so I guess that's why he wanted me to fold.

One time I maybe should have folded was 4 handed vs a grinder (former internet player). We were like 60bigs effective and the pot got like 10-bet preflop because he'd min-raise then i'd min-raise. I thought I was leveling him but it turned out he had aces.

Vs. AA: 18%

vs. AA-KK 100%, QQs 50% (if you're on the fence): 40%

vs. AA-QQ: 50%

vs. AA-QQ, AKs+: 53%

vs. AA-QQ, AK+: 58%

vs. AA-JJ, AK+: 63%

I know this spot is actually just a shove at equilibrium OOP w/KKs, QQs, AKo, AKs if you keep your frequencies in check so that when you 4-bet small it isn't obvious you have AA.

Live I think just shoving here more often makes sense. You don't really want to play 4-bet pots with anything other than AA OOP because of the low SPR imo and solvers agree with that. EV is the same/similar depending on what positions everyone is.

We really shouldn't be folding any pairs we 4-bet with at this stack depth.

There's not much they can do to exploit you if you just shove here more than you should because of the obvious sample size issue in a spot like this.

Also, there's 10+ BBs out there already. That's $100 or 25 meals for rob.

Pretty good thanks for asking! I have to say dealing is way better than playing as the money is much more consistent. You don't have to worry about negative variance unless one of the whales decides to steal from you.

But I just tell them I'm 225 lbs and they apologize right away. So hasn't been an issue.
