one table and i can do other things while i play, two tables and i no longer do other stuff but play but it's still super casual and a lot of waiting
but holy mother of covid baby jesus if i play 3 or dare I attempt 4 tables my head just about explodes, it's damn near impossible to play without timing out at some of the tables and quality of play drops dramatically
not going to lie, it's kind of scary, possible that this is just the nature of spins/hu and i'm pretty naive in adoption etc but it definitely feels like my brain is slowing down and it's scaring the crap out of me
Back in the day I could pretty comfortably 12 table 6-max LHE (which plays faster and requires more button clicks overall). These days, I had gotten up to 12 tables of 6-max NLHE on NJPP, and then they changed the software so 12 tables doesn't fit nicely on my laptop screen anymore, and also changed it to reduce time per decision and I'm only playing 8-9.
I think most of the various softwares have been updated to go faster (reduced times to decide, cards dealt faster, and similar), so I don't think it's your brain slowing, although to be fair, mine could be too...
