Long time lurker, but this entire charade reminds me of something Tyson once said:

"Everyone has a plan 'till they get punched in the mouth."

To explain -

About 15 years ago, I was a bit an intemperate kid. Gym rat athlete with the ego the size of the World Trade Center (too soon?). Got into it with the old man, who's weight lifting consisted of a fair number of 12oz curls.

When I woke up, I had a newfound respect for out of shape old dudes.

As my dad used to say, age and treachery will defeat youth and skill any day

I must say, some of you are very biased though

No worries. I didn’t expect Sqwid to be one of those people though haha

Like I said I'm game, but it's never going to happen and you know why.

Can't blame him though I wouldn't want to either. Why pay someone money to get beat on? Unless you're into that kind of thing.

And this youth has no skill in fighting.

+1, I sense that Mr. Spyu is a 40-yr-old Ryu who will suffer no fool

I made the us team @37 years old. I ran circles around dudes 1/2 my age

ran a 4.57 40 off a pad
had the 3rd fastest start in the us behind a dude that barely missed the olympics as a high hurdler and a former track star.
out lifed just bout all of em cept a couple o studs
last time I tried to dunk I still could

so age does not concern me much if someone has the pedigree

Honestly didn't expect the Pen to have gone above Mr Coffee/Greenmermaid.
I'm actually leaning that way because I like to slither to the kitchen and press exactly 1 button. Aeropress or Pour over sound like a time cost.

Zoltan's can find his coffee grinds in the couch I guess.

We ended up buying a Hamilton Beach with thermal carafe, but no built-in grinder. Only drinking the third pot of coffee we've made with it so far ATM, but it seems to be quite good, and was $50 less than another Cuisanart.
Have you thought of a use for the old Cuisnart steel carafe? I actually have two.

Miami and AZ meet for coffee

I was on that once. It's like a message board for coders, so many windows.

dmw - aero doesnt take a ton o time but it does take some. I have it down so i am quite efficient and it does not take much longer than french press. The taste difference is substantial. Obviously you can totally geek out about it and turn it into a chemistry experiment that wastes 1/2 yer day. I am all about efficiency and mass cafine consumption and I am a total convert. Something to think about

I'd be embarrassed about a 315 lbs max deadlift if I was an "athletic 225 lbs."

I've done 455 lbs at 205 lbs and I'm fat.

Coffee: we bought a Keurig Essentials Duo because I drink coffee by the pot and Mrs Breeze only has one cup a day. She uses a washable K cup so she can use regular coffee grounds like I do.

It’s beautiful. Recommended.

how has no one pointed out how all basketball players who fight always look like gigantic bitches, throwing wild haymakers that don't come anywhere near hitting anyone?

i haven't deadlifted, or basically worked out, in a year+. i'd wager i could deadlift 315 right now. and i'm not athletic at all.
