I've only seen Office Space and Dazed and Confused.

Dazed and Confused would probably be best for you. Office Space is a must see for anyone that's ever worked an IT office job.

Both good movies but Office Space definitely ranks higher for me with more memorable characters, better scenes and just more replay value in general (never had a desire to go back and rewatch Dazed and Confused although it is good). Both take place in Texas.

Personally, I think you should watch Up in Smoke first though.

Back to school is super underrated. Had that on VHS and vividly remember the opening scene

Dazed and Confused was pretty good. Matthew McConaughey was awesome.

I can't find anywhere to rent that, but it actually does sound really good for that type of movie.

I thought Blazing Saddles was funny, you peanut for a brain mother****er hahahaha.

I'm assuming you've seen Big Lebowski - if not do. Up in Smoke is indeed one of the funniest movies of all for any stoner.

Dazed and confused is classic with an ossum soundtrack.

How High is still funny and quite quotable.

Many of these types of movies lose their appeal though once you realize drugs are pretty common. Especially weed, pills, and blow.
half baked is a classic

distinctly remember seeing the previews and thinking how awful it would be and really judging the people who thought it'd be a good movie - like seriously looked down on those people

then i finally saw it

it pays some serious attention to detail that and is a true masterpiece, i must have seen it 50 times and each times there's a new joke or level of a joke i hadn't noticed previously

Da fuq we need Denmark for?

Sorry mang, I just don't think it hangs together as a movie well at all. It's awesome as a collection of characters and sketches, but the "plot" is really a distraction from them most of the time.

It's best to just watch that movie for its spot-on scenes and not try to get invested in the story arc.

They were doing $3K per hand but it culminated in a $20K explosion.

I shockingly haven't seen The Big Lebowski yet...So many people have recommended it.

I forgot to mention - Dazed and Confused had one of the best soundtracks of all time. It's up there with Bad Times at the El Royale, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, and 8 Mile. Does Up in Smoke, or any of those other movies have a kick ass soundtrack?

Almost Famous was an amazing movie and the first R rated movie I had ever seen. I was 13 and my family had just got HBO. My dad didn't understand that the movies were uncensored. My mom was leaving to go shopping and a guy said "f*ck" several times, and she angrily told him to turn it off. He said he would, but she left, and we watched the whole movie. The almost sex scene happened and my dad said "I'm gonna turn it off if either of them actually get naked." They didn't though, and we finished the movie. Tiny Dancer was probably my favorite music scene in there.
