"I'm all in" "I'm all in"

Fun little hand from Saturday night @ twin River.

Sitting @ 1/2 around 3:30 am. I'm sitting with ~220, V1 covers.

I straddle and look down at 910 with 7 players calling in front. I make 30 to go and get 2 callers. V1 checks to me on a 3 k 7r board. I Cbet 80. Folds to V1 (drunk and sitting on 1k) who reluctantly calls. Turn is another 7 and again checked to me. I bet 100, leaving myself 5 whites behind. River is a 6. V1 checks again and I announce "I'm all in" and Dealer throws me the all in button. V1 literally tanks for a full minute, lifting/looking at his cards until he folds in disgust.

V1 was in the 1 seat and I was in the 4 so my chips were clearly visible. Live poker will never die

Lucky you. Always leave yourself enough chips for a credible river bluff.

This should probably be in BBV.

Good story!

I remember once I was playing with a similar opponent type: drunk, "analytical," and not nearly as good as he thought he was.

Pre-flop was straddled to $5, 3 limpers, he raised to like $30 in MP. I 3b to like $65 or $70 in the HJ with AA. Folded around to him and he went in the tank for a minute because I was playing a bit tight that night. After 30 seconds or so, I picked up my two cards and "picked out the ace" and showed it to him face up. He insta-raised me all-in for like $250. Easiest money I've ever made. He had KK.

Why raise to 30 over limp?

(Awesome win, btw)

You stacked KK with AA 50BBs effective? You are truly a wizard.
