vs TT, 77, 33, and all 64 offsuit/suited combos we have 26.8% so no we can never ever fold this lol... it's a SNAP call

add in T7s, 75s, drop 64o which is much more realistic and we have 45% (+he can have spazzes/rando bluffs too)

don't fold sets peeps. now i'm back to not posting in strat threads anymore
Doesnt change the fact i’ve won a lot of money and consistently beaten many stakes lol. Mikestar also knows almost zero math/gto yet still kills the game, so i dont see your point.

I never said anything about folding. And idk about you but i dont see how having a 0.3% equity edge is a snap call lol. What, you have 1 million BI for 5/10? Lol. That’s not even factoring in rake, which makes your “snap call” a losing call

Giving full weight to 107s/75s and then giving 0% to 64o seems unrealistic. Fish are going to call 64o at some freq, even if it is 5-10%. And 107s/75s are not going to be 100% frequency calls preflop either, whereas 33/55/1010/77 almost are so your 45% equity is pretty off.

I limp call this hand in this game. You are very rarely getting the blinds. You are rarely c bet taking it down. Raising doesn't achieve much.

If someone has a premium behind you will prob get a nice price to call. Not so if it goes raise call call reraise.

Players are more likely to make goofy 2p and stuff.

I mean if you are going to use pot odds to make a point I would recommend at least knowing how they work

its not a 0.3% equity edge. thats the worse case scenario. when the call is +ev in the worst case scenario it's a pretty easy snap...

45% was just adding in some other realistic combos and taking out some 64o, most likely it's going to be somewhere in between (he can still have other worse hands than 2p/sets/straights...) the equity probably somewhere in the middle, but still a clear +ev (snap) call

I personally raise this hand in a EP because I think raising makes it easier to get paid off OOP when I hit. People are more likely to call my bets when they hit a hand because they'll often put me on an overpair or standard c-betting. In position it's a different story.

I'm sitting with about $420 in front of me now and the thought comes to leave. Being a gentleman (or an idiot if you like,) I decide not to be a hit-and-run artist (because I hate when people do it) and at least see/fold a few more hands before I rack up and leave.
I played this game recently and it's hilariously bad, full of tourists with a few decent regs (great folks who I got to know pretty well over a 10 hour stretch).

The hand is meh w/e and i'm not folding 55 pre. I need a limp range to balance my back-raise range anyway. Flop a set and go broke at this stack depth. He has some 2pr and 33 combos, plus all 77 TT 64, and you can't exclude ANY 64o combos btw - not in this game.

The only issue I have with the hand is the bolded bit above. Once you win those chips, they're yours. If you want to win one hand and say my work here is done, then you are morally, ethically and legally entitled to rack them up. don't give it a moments thought. the only reason to stay is if you believe the game is profitable, and if you are correctly bankrolled for the game. the second part could be a most legitimate reason to leave.

I've hit and run many tables over the years - often filling in 20 minutes before a tournament starts, or playing a 1/3 game before my 2/5 seat comes up. i want to run over the table, scoop some chips and move on quickly. i'll even laugh about it with any regs that may be playing.
