Curious what everyone thinks is the correct play when checked to on the river (also about my play in general). I logged on PokerPoise: http://pokerpoise.com/viewhand?hand_id=22
Checking. Not really many hands that you beat that he is calling with. AT and A8 i guess but you would expect to see a raise on the flop a large % of the time due to the draw, especially from an OMC..
Definitely betting this for value. Nice hand. OMC didn't call 2 streets to fold river. How much you should bet is partially dependent on your image and how fishy the OMC is.
Thanks for the replies guys. I agree in retrospect I should've checked but I see people call extremely lightly with an Ace, especially AX with X of clubs and their club missing on the river.
In regards to the turn, I think its a good bet for value and an easy bet/fold (sure that's exploitable but this guy will not be exploiting). On the turn I think I get called by a ton of pairs holding one club, and also various combo draws.
Thanks again for the comments and feel free to comment directly on PokerPoise - you can add comments to the specific street and decision point comments box (very helpful).
I feel you raised too much pre. Make it closer to $18 or $19..
As played flop cbet is fine
On the turn, good bet for value, nice bet size.
On the river, i check back an awful lot here, if you have a decent read on the player then u can bet for value but what hands are calling you on the turn that is calling on the river??
Any high club? K or jack clubs, sets (prob would raise on previous streets as a fairly draw heavy board)
The only hands your getting called by that your beating is prob AK or A10.
Your losing to everything else.
