Question about STATS live -- vpip/pfr Question about STATS live -- vpip/pfr

Hey everyone,

I have a question about trying to keep stats, similar to HUD stats, during live play.

I understand VPIP and PFR, generally.

My question involves a specific situation.

-- I raise, villain 3 bets, I call. --

How should I count this toward VPIP and PFR?

Obviously, I opened the pot for a raise, so theoretically I should get one toward vpip and one toward pfr, but then I ultimately called.

How do you all think I should calculate that scenario when assessing "pre-flop raise" per-centage?

Thanks for your advice.

Somoene correct me if Im wrong, but if the first 6 hands dealt to you, you fold 3 and 3 of them you raised and called a reraise, your VPIP is 50/50. The fact that you called a reraise doesnt figure in to those 2 numbers.

VPIP and PFR should be 50%. Your call 3bet will be 100%.

So yes if you open a hand it counts towards VPIP and PFR.

Only your first action matters for PFR.

Everyone above is correct.

Your VPIP is 100% (since you raised initially)
Your PFR is 100% (since you raised initially)
Your Fv3bet is 0% (since you called the 3bet)
Your 4bet is 0% (since you didn't 4bet)

If you're trying to be a human pokertracker/HE Manager, you're wasting your time. Just pay attention to people's showdowns and lines and build their ranges that way. I mean, it's live poker. You could be there 8 hours and not even see 250 hands.
