Question about line 300nl live Question about line 300nl live

Playing at Seminole hard rock in Tampa, playing 1/3nl 9 handed. Both mp and co are inexpierenced and loose-passive.
I am BB with AsAd ($350) utg+1, mp, and co limp. I raise to $15 total, mp and co call.
Flop comes qd8d5d. I lead for $22 and both call. turn comes 2s I lead for $65 mp calls and co shoves for $88, I call mp calls. River comes 9h, I check mp bets $55. I call.

Anything I should have done differently? Different bet sizing? Or check turn? Thanks

raise more pre

bet more on the flop because you are probably committed equity wise

Please do not put results in your OP. I would advise 48 hours before you give results unless the discussion is real good.

If they are limp calling with a wide range I would try to make the most profitable raise preflop. That would be the highest amount you would expect at least one of them to call. If both of them come even better (which I think both will). $15 would be a good standard size bet, but we want to maximize profitability. You can easily raise more and more than likely expect a call. $20 is probably the smallest amount I raise pre, and you may even be able to go more than that.

AP - I am betting close to the pot OTF. You have the Ad but I assume they will still try to draw with worse FDs.

When you raise to $15 in the BB, the pot is $25 (3+3+3+1+15) and it's $12 for UTG+1 to call (2:1), and we know he is likely to call because he is loose-passive. If he does call (which I know he didn't) that gives MP, 3:1, and then CO 4:1. You don't want to take AA to the flop against three other players. Raise more pre.

So two callers and the pot is now 49 for an SPR of 7 (This assume that CO and MP have you covered; you didn't mention their stack sizes). You now have the overpair and the NFD, which is looking pretty good. I want to build a pot with some loose-passive players because I'm ready to get my stack in. The $22 bet is too low. I'd bet pot. If we bet 49 now and one calls, that puts the pot at 147 and we would have 282. And if they both fold, then so be it; an LP is not folding a Q here. Then on the turn, if only one calls, I'd bet 2/3P with 95; you want to shovel money into the pot before a diamond hits and spoils your action (assuming they have a Q and not a FD, and of course if they have a flush draw, then they are getting of of their monies in) After the turn call by your villain, that puts the river at 337 and you'll have 187 for a 1/2P bet.

As played on the turn, the pot is 115 and you are betting 65 which is a little more than 1/2P. Too little. Again, you want to shovel money into the pot, because your committed.

I just read the rest of your post (I was looking at each of your streets and then responding) I see that CO had considerably less than you so that kind of screws up my SPR up top. Make sure you always post the villians stack size to start. And don't post the result.

Anyway....on river how much does MP have left? That affects our decision as to what to do on the river.

I can tell by your title 300NL live that you are probably an online player.

There are a few adjustments that online players have a problem with when trying to play the live game, namely bet sizing.

Rec-fish didn't drive 40 minutes to the casino to fold, so you can almost always size your bets much larger in live games as compared to online games.

You can make it $20 - $25 if they are loose passives and they are snap calling you. Also, you didn't mention their stack sizes which is important.

flop bet is okay, a touch low but fine. Turn bet is okay but yeah when he shoves that sucks and we need to hit a diamond. I'm fine with just a call here since we are essentially drawing to the nuts and want as much money in the pot as possible and if we call its likely MP calls

River spot sucks since we missed . Getting over 6:1 on a call we only have to be good like 13% of the time so a crying call on river isn't terribad but we can just fold and save $55 since a call here is going to be -EV or at best 0EV (EV neutral).

Between both villains, one of them has a flush or at least can beat our AA.

However, if both villains were knuckle dragging mouthbreathers we can call the $55 on river
