Quad 10's with the straddle
Hi all,
trying to figure out how I could have maximized this.
Game is 1/3/6 I'm UTG with 1010 and raise to 22.
Cutoff calls button calls straddler calls.
(90)
Flop 10 5 5
I bet 40 cutoff folds, button flats, straddler folds.
(170) turn I check button bets 40 I flat.
(250) river is a Q I bet 50 (he only has like 150 ish left and he sigh calls)
maybe raise the turn? lead bigger on the river? check raise river?

Bet flop good, c/c turn you have the board smashed, x/jam river to induce bluffs and get him to stack with 5x. Leading rivers is generally very bad

Minatorr's line is standard but at these stakes I prefer just betting all 3 streets as a default. It gets max value from 77 hands which are unlikely to fold but won't bet and 5x can get inexplicably passive when the second T comes out.

i like
40 -> 70 -> 170 (jam)
there's no magic formula here. you're hoping villain has JJ/99/88 and is gonna put you on AK. once he calls flop i'm just gonna go smallish on the turn to set up the river shove.

Nothing wrong with b/b/jam, but yeah i really don't like the x/c turn lead river line.

If you are going to check the turn, then check shove the river. When you c/c the turn and lead the river, you stop V from bluffing the river.

What is the turn card?
Villain description?
Omg so sorry turn is a 10 so board is 10 5 5 10 Q
V best described as a loose player he's aggressive pre raises like 50 % of the time when people limp to him pre he ALWAYS c bets flop and usually will shut down on the turn if he misses
He's pretty active in general
