10-handed 1/3 NL home game.

Fairly tight table, lots of limping
Hero: SB $700 Fairly active in this game, opening up more in late position. I feel like players are trying to trap me at this point.
BB: $300 Playing tight, not much history with this player
UTG: $700 Likes to play flops against me a lot, especially in position.

OTTH
UTG: limp
HJ: raise to 6
Hero: QsQd 3! To 30
BB: 4! To 100
UTG: cold call
Folds to me
Hero??

My ranges for BB is JJ+, AK, and UTG JJ-KK, AK.

Should I just fold here, or 5! shove and try to play heads up against BB? Is call even an option?

tight table =/= lots of limping. Seems more weak-passive. Anyways, you have 36% equity vs ranges you've assigned. I'd likely call sometimes just to setmine, or simply fold sometimes b/c BB is repping KK+ if he's a typical lowstakes tightwad. We need to put in 70 and V's have 1k combined. Given the SPR it shouldn't be too hard to get stacks in if we connect... nothing wrong with letting this one go either. Close spot.

Weak passive is probably a better description for this table.

Run your equity versus those ranges.

Even though aggro us is getting aggro against a very small lol open, in the end we just got 4bet (4bet!!!) by a tight guy in the BB who just put in 1/3 of his stack. And then on top of that someone who saw all that and with action open in two places behind him decided limp/taking4coldtotheface was a good idea.

One, if not both, of these guys already have us beat a pretty decent amount of the time, imo.

ETA: BTW, I have no idea why you don't have AA in UTG's range. It is far and away the hand he shows up here most with, imo.

Yeah I would likely fold here. We only have 6 BB invested and BB and UTG at best both have AK.

Call and shove any non A or K flop

Edit: UTG may have AA but I'd expect some TT/JJ combos here as well, waiting for a safe flop to rip it.

Lol @ folding QQ here, if someone has AA/KK so be it nh and reload

+1

So the tight guy cold 4b from the BB and we think he has JJ?

Lmao at putting JJ in any reasonable cold 4 bet range in a 1/3 game. If you do so, youre living on another planet.

Easy exploitable fold with QQ. It doesent matter if you have QQ, when 98 percent of your competition doesent 4 bet/stackoff without KK/AA pre.

This is just a bread and butter fold at 1/3 stakes.

Misread the stack sizes but we can't fold pre IMO

Why cant we fold pre?

Upon further inspection of uber tight ranges we can fold QQ here. Our image makes me wanna continue but how many players at 1/3 are adjusting to images?

Exactly. And how many random typical 1/3 players is gonna exploit us for folding QQ here or be able to readjust their ranges?

They wont even know what we are folding.

Easy fold in this particular game indeed.

I'm sorry but tight players don't cold 4bet from the BB with this range. So if he'
s tight, it's a snap fold. If this is his range, he's not a tight player. There's no room to set mine here or call/fold later.

if you shove, there's no more playing heads up. you have to pray for a queen to come within 5 cards.
