This is from a 1/3 no limit live cash game. The game is taking place early in the day on a weekday so action is slower than most days as most players are older semi loose preflop players and fairly tight post. Rarely can you expect players to play back post flop as the will either want to lead or call with draws and top pair and rarely get out of line with large raises. Hero is a recreational player with limited time to play because of work and easily opens the most pots preflop and c-bets at the highest frequency. I have experience with all players and have seen some marginal plays on my side which will play into the river decision.
Hero is in HJ with $415
Button older gentleman who is sticky with hands like top pair. $315
BB unknown player with roughly $200
UTG+2 will splash a bit pre but tight passive post flop $165

Hand starts with UTG limping for $3. Hero makes it $14 on button. With QcQs. BB and limper call. Pot $43

Flop
Jh 5h 4d

Action checks to Hero who who bets $28. BB calls as does Utg.
Pot $110

Turn
2c

Action checks to hero who bets $65. BB thinks longer than normal calls. Utg folds.
Pot $240

River
5s

Hero down bets making it $75. BB checks cards snaps all in for remaining $140.
Pot $455

Seems like a snap call but I never expect him to bluff missed draw and to only call a jack. The river seemed like a dream as BB will stack off one pair on this board. I instantly regret not betting larger regardless of the outcome or checking and trying to catch a rare bluff. I block no flush or combo draws so I feel it is more likely for him to have a bluff or a flopped set. The only hand I feel him moving in with is a boat and the river narrows down that likelihood he has one.
He should 3 bet JJ and flopped 5’s is now quads. A3h does fit as well and with our stacks as he may choose to jam the river for so little more with a straight. Hero calls.what I want to know if I should be checking here to catch his bluff as by betting even small I have zero fold equity if he goes in. As well as my turn bet into players. On this board is a bit over half pot bet into two opponents large enough.

Bigger OTF, please. Board is wet. Get that value.

I thought you said BB was an unknown.

Why not 45s, or even J5s from some V's?

Basically, we need BB cleared up, or at least population reads.

In addition, the big blind only started with 200. He should only have about 90 left on the river. You state you're in HJ initially, but then two sentances later you're on the button. You add information on the UTG+2, but he folded pf before the action gets to you.

I'm going to just lock this. When you figure out what the action actually was, where everyone is positioned and the stack sizes, start a new thread.
