2/5. Stacks are 100bb eff
1 limper and CO makes it 20.
CO is unknown, just sat down. Only reads are he bought in full, has headphones, and can shuffle ships.
TAG on BTN flats.
We're in SB with AQo
BB is relatively nitty, not a squeezer.
Is it universally accepted that flatting OOP to 2 seemingly competent players here is bad? We should only be folding or raising?
I lean towards a fold here since I know nothing of CO. But I think if I knew CO to be LAG or even TAG, and understands position, I think this is a 3bet most of the time.
His range should be pretty wide to open CO here and even a TAGS BTN range is wide here as well. I don't know how they react to 3bets though. And BTN probably views me as pretty LAG
What are some different lines for this spot? And what is standard?
If we 3bet, how often are we barreling, and on what boards?
And how often are we c/f, and on what boards?

think 3bet/f is fine in this spot, and be prepared to a cbet on almost any board if you get to flop hu

yes, 3 betting here. We get a tonne of folds and obv have ok equity when called.
Guy with headphones who can shuffle is going to be isoing so wide because nobody ever exploits him by 3!. Be the one to do it.
Think it is key to notice the difference between this and say a spot where we are on button with fish limpers and in blinds. Then keeping fish in + having position may make flatting much better.

I feel that the probability of both the co and btn having "real" hands, while possible; isnt too likely. I think your squeeze will give some clarity to their holdings. It also gives you some credible aggression from the SB. Seems like the thin to do.

So if they both call when we 3bet, what boards are we c/f on?

Definitely squeezing here, this is a good spot + hand to do so with. Making it ~$80 here PF.
If they both call, I'm c/f quite a bit since people get sticky in 3-bet pots and many boards that miss us hit their ranges. Would definitely c-bet K-high boards for sure though and probably dry paired boards (e.g. 433r).

It's funny, with A5o, this is a standard/boring profitable sqeeze for me (assuming I have a clean image).
With AQo things are actually more complicated here. For example, against a tag isolating a weak limper, and then the action folds to me in the SB, I WOULD NOT squeeze in this spot with AQo. 3betting with AQo in this spot is just gonna blow out the limper and get the tag to fold everything I'm beating, and call or 4bet me with a hand range that crushes AQo. I'd much rather call preflop and encourage the limper (who probably sux) to stay in and keep the tag in with a range I'm crushing. But of course this is NOT the situation we are in.
The actual situation: a presumably weak player limps, a tag iso raises and another likely tag calls. The above dynamic still holds true, but now we have more dead money in the pot (the headphone coldcaller) and now if we just call preflop we're gonna have the worst absolute position in a 4 handed pot with a top pair type hand that plays best 3 handed/HU--not an ideal situation. In this case I would 3bet, but I'm not really loving this spot cuz again, we're unlikely to get action from worse, so when we do get action we're in trouble oop. But I hate playing AQ oop in a 4 handed pot, so yeah, I'm 3betting $80-$90 and basically hoping everyone folds.
