Hero- playing what I believe to be a TAG game. I have 640 and I'm in MP. Everytime I went to show down I've always had it. Some players know me at the table and know that I can be very loose.

V1- he's been tight he did a limp reraise with AA earlier almost every bet I've seen from him has been all In nothing else. He's a MAWG. 35 UTG+1

V2- I've been talking to him a lot he's playing pretty tight passive he's like a 30 year old white guy probably just playing for fun.80

V3- I have history with him he has a a lot of calling mistakes but when he bets he usually has something. I've seen him just barrel off with 2nd pair before. He doesn't go for the giant check raise bluff or anything like that, he's a Rec player. He just tripled up when he had AK on a K high board. 165$ HJ.

3 limps Hero raises to 12 in Mp with 99 v2 calls v3 flats and v1 ships I reraise to 100 instantly( is this a leak??? I do this a lot to ISO the all in, with pairs 88+ most suited Broadway's) V2 tank calls and v3 ships , I have to call here 380-65

so i'm a little confused. You have to call $65 more from V3? What stakes is this?

As for the $100 bet over the V1 - that seems standard and way better than calling.

V3 might have a huge hand and know that V1 is going to jam light - I do this sometimes with big hands like JJ+ if I know there is a guy after me who always raises.

But i'm not folding 99 here - looks like a cooler if you lost

Too little to fold now.

Decision point is at the $35 ship. Either fold there or commit because of stack sizes

My question was about the 4 bet I know I have to all now. And the stakes are 1/2, the guy had KK and both short stacks had 55 I never expected V3 to flat KK

the 4bet is a little light because there are 3 other Vs.

if you give them all a 30% range of hands (which is arbitrary, but it's a starting point, if they call tighter it only makes it worse), we need 165/(55+55+165+165)=0.375=>37.5% equity. we're only getting 30-31%

if you were able to iso the 2 short stackers, which is obv what you were trying to do, we only need 33% equity. vs the same 30% range above, we'd have 41% equity.

really what kills this is the 4th player. you're just not going to win enough because there is a good chance any overcard on the board and you lose. in a 30% range, every hand has an overcard to 99 except 88-55, so there is a good chance there are at least 3 overcards to your 99. sure sometimes they cancel each other out, but it wouldnt surprise me to see 99 vs AT vs KQ vs AK

Apparently nobody else thinks you're playing a tight game. And clearly you weren't successful at isolating. I guess you have to call at the end, but the mistake was failing to isolate.
