Hi. Last time I posted a question, the responses I received were blunt, and I felt like an idiot. I try to remember every little detail, but sometimes I forget some things...
Sometimes the truth hurts. Whatever. I'll put my big-boy pants on and try again...
I try to play tight, not call off my chips. But sometimes I make a brain-freeze. Please take this into account. I try my best and post here so that I can learn from my mistake, and not feel like an idiot and consider giving up the game...
The following situation came up the last time I played at the local club.
$1/2 NLHE, 9-handed. V2 raised to $11 from CO. I called from SB with 9
10
. V1 also called, 3 players see the flop. Both players had me covered, and I had around $130. V1 had about the same stack as I did. V2 had about $300ish
FLOP

I check. Villian1 moved in for $139. Villain2 (2 seats to my right) thinks a very long time, and also calls.
I thought that V1 probably had an 8 in his hand, but he could have had a flush draw, which would have certainly been higher than my 10high flush draw. V2, by thinking a long time, I felt that he was drawing. I thought it was possible that I had a higher draw, but I wasn't sure.
V2 is a tricky, loose type of player. He has made hero calls with weird holdings before, but has also made calls with over a dozen outs, so his range was pretty wide. Like I said, I thought V1 had an 8, and wasn't drawing.
Looking back, I would have had 13 outs. Thinking about V2 range, I think estimated his range too tightly. V2, raising from the CO could have a pretty wide range, and isn't limited to only high cards.
I fold, thinking V2 has a better draw than I do.
V1 wins the hand with trip 8s.
V2 has A

If it matters, the river was 4
Should I have called, knowing that I would be calling $139ish to win $290? Without considering what V2 could have been holding, I would have been about 45% to make my flush or straight.
I feel like I didn't take the pot odds into consideration enough.
