Buy-in: 60-300

A couple people have 2-3 hundred everybody else is relatively short. Game is playing very soft. A lot of limping. Have only been at the table for about an hour.

Villain (Button) $300 - Middle aged Asian guy. Leaning towards the more competent side relative to the table from what I've seen. But no other real reads.

Hero (HJ) $450 - Raising a lot IP to exploit limping.

One limper. Hero raise the Hijack with K9ss to $12. Button BB and limper call.

Flop ($50) 4 players

Kc 6s 4s

Great flop for our hand. I'm betting and hoping to get it in.

Check. Check. Hero bets $35. Villain calls. Fold. Fold.

Turn ($120) 2 players

6c

Hero?

Pretty bad turn card for our hand. I'm curious how other people play this. What's our best plan? Range for villain in my mind is heavily weighted towards KQ KJ KT and flushdraws.

i only see 2 options. c/c or super gay blocker bet of like $30, i havent started using these blocker bets as i feel i will get blown off my hand but i just dont see many ppl exploiting these bets so id go for it.

Bump. Never really got any responses to this. Here is my line OTT.

Hero bets 110, V1 shoves for 250, Hero calls.

My thinking was if I make a PSB I can get V1 to possibly fold better K's and if he does decide to shove with those hands I will have the right odds to call.

Which line do you like best?

A check/call
B check/fold
C PSB/call
D smaller bet/fold
E smaller bet/call

D 75% of the time, A 10%, and E 5%.

Betting bigger to get better odds when you have 12 outs max is also a flawed rationale.

This was not built into my bet sizing. More of just an after thought. The bigger the bet the more likely he folds out KQ-KT. But, if he does decide to shove here we'll be getting better odds on a call with 37% equity against those 3 hands. He may also get it in with worse as well.

Of course this possible. Just not very likely imo.

I check here for sure. Betting folds out all worse flush draws that are drawing dead to us and PPs<K that we will be able to extract value from on the river as villain will think 'oh he checked the turn, he can't have a king'. Am calling a bet and re evaluating on river but will probably end up check folding most blank rivers.

Luke has a pretty good plan as it allows for weaker hands to bet Ott or otr
