Continuing to break apart my earlier thread...Hero is 40ish white guy. Wears shiny sun glasses and doesn't talk much.
effective stacks about $700.

2/5. Pocket 8s in late position. I raise to $25 and get called by the person to my left who is a good solid player. One other player calls. Flop is AA8 rainbow. I raise $50 and get called by solid player to my left. Turn bricks. I raise $100. Solid Player calls. River is an Ace. I check. Solid Player bets $150. Hero?

I folded. Agree with earlier comments. Pretty easy fold.

So, he bets 150 in a 375 pot? And u wanna fold top full? I dont know how nitty are the live games, but online I guess its call.

My read on the player is he wasn't one to speculate or bluff much. And after calling me for two streets I was convinced he had an ace or at a very minimum a pocket pair. I was convinced that he thought he had the bast hand. He didn't show or say, so who knows? He may have bluffed me.

I think it's a fold. I think JJ-KK 3bet pre. Obviously 99 and 1010 just sucked out on you. I feel like any PP smaller than 8's would check back that river. Feels like A10 or AJ.
