Breaking this multi hand thread apart, so I will continue with the next steps here....

Hero is 40ish white guy. Wears shiny sun glasses and doesn't talk much.

Pocket 6s, at 1/2. Effective stacks about $300. To my left is a young agro guy that knows how to play. I limp in under the gun with pocket 6s. I call the $15 raise from agro guy to my left as does one other player in late position. Flop is J6x two diamonds. I check to Agro guy and he bets... $10 into a $45 pot. Late position calls. Hero??

I did not like the $10 bet. Seemed very uncharacteristic for an experienced player to do that. So I just called the $10 and saw the turn. The turn bricked, I checked and young agro bets $50. Late position folds. Hero???

As played, time to raise. I would make it about $125. Don't want to lose him. Set up a nice shove on river. If he has JJ, it's a cooler. I expect to go broke almost anytime I run set into set.

His flop bet is so weak that I may raise there and make it look like a steal. Pot is $65 when it gets back to you on the flop, I may raise to $40-50 and then lead turn and river assuming the board doesn't run out terrible.

I checked the bet and the river was a diamond. Everyone checked around and Agro guy showed pocket jacks for the win. I have never been so happy with a loss as I figured I made a great read. When a good player underbets the pot, you should wonder what he is up to.

Could you say the cards, not "x" or "brick," they're important.

Limping the 2 is fine. When you call the raise oop, you can't just know the odds for calling that make it correct, you need to realistically be able to get that much $ off of V when you hit. Have a pf oop plan for extracting, don't figure it out on the fly.

AP, I probably flat and lead otr and hope V either has a J and shoves not calls (although never folds) or spazzes and thinks he can bluff shove. Turn c/r at 1/2 are the stones every time.

think this is way too results oriented. i understand that in this situation it worked out great for you, but i think the turn is 100% a raise and you have to at least consider a flop raise before that. you're losing a ton of value and in the end i don't think this is optimal.

Your taking a mathematical approach to it which I appreciate. But sometimes you need to trust your read more than the math. Why would a good player bet $10 into a $45 pot? I figured he was not scared of just about any card. The last time I saw a good player make a bet like that, he had flopped quads.

I think raising flop would show way too much strength (even with his ****ty bet). As played, raise turn to 150. Shove river if he calls regardless of the card.

You honestly think raising a flop gaybet looks strong than raising a £50 bet OTT???????
