Hi all,

1/3. Hero as been at the table for several hours and should have a tight image. $175. V (older Asian guy) covers.

Hero limps 10-10 UTG, limps to V/MP who makes it $15. Three callers including hero. Pot $53.

Flop: 10-3-2r. Hero checks, preflop raiser bets $30, folds to hero who calls. Pot $113.

Turn: Q: Hero checks, V bets $55. Hero calls. Pot $223.

River: 2. Hero checks.

Is this line OK? Was debating a raise OTT or a lead OTR but thought I'd let V hang himself instead. I didn't want to blow him off his hand.

Thanks,
DT

I'm fine with the initial limp (I'm guessing most others will likely hate it).

With this much dead money relative to our shortish stack, I might consider ripping it in preflop when it gets back to us. Really dependent on the opener on how raisey he can be. Otheriwse, I'm fine ~setmining too.

SPR is just 3 on the flop and the board is fairly drawless. I also just check and hope someone puts money in. Even if it checks thru we can still play for stacks against anyone who wants to by betting big on turn/river. I'm also just calling the flop. He could be betting air (in which case we're fine with him continuing to do that or perhaps catch up to TP on turn/river), and if he checks behind on the turn we can still PSB+ the river for stacks.

Not the best card on the turn as QQ has now moved ahead plus some hands have picked up a straight draw. But we're committed. I actually might lead this card (checking more blankish ones), but as played the gig is up at this point and I now check/shove my remaining $75. Not really a fan of just calling and checking the river because with only $75 in a $223 pot I doubt most villains are going to shove air (if they even 4barrel air to begin with).

FWIW, if he's aggro enough to be barrelling air over 4 streets then he's probably aggro enough to be opening light, in which case I'd lean towards shoving preflop.

How can you not raise the turn? Lead or raise turn

River leads are super lame

If you're not raising with the top of your raising range, then you have no raising range. Save the exploitative check check check line for the aggro-whales, not old man.

Preflop you are just deep enough to play this. After that you have a lot of options to get your stack in. You should lead or raise here somewhere before river. Check/call such a dry flop with top set is good. So mostly lead turn or check/raise turn. Check/jam river isn't terrible but villain will have a lot of check behind hands.

It's actually a bad board to get paid on because it's so dry. What do you have here to get aggressive with except sets? This is why limp/call with pairs OOP is a problem against better players, they won't pay you off big often enough.

AP I guess I shove river. But I'd rip it in OTT.

Don't like the UTG limp, and if I am limping 10s UTG with a <60bb stack I'm doing so to jam over a raise. Especially once there's dead money in the pot. As played, jam turn. You only have another $75 behind.

C/R turn all in. As played, lead river. He could easily check behind and you lose value.

Just put the leftover $75 in on the river, why are you checking.

If this is MGM, I don't think anyone is folding for 1/3 PSB on the river.
