Keep in mind there's no need to ever punt off our stack with air. We can fire one barrel a very high % of the time HU. We can double barrel on favorable textures against the right fit/fold opponents (and when we have it ofc).
And we can triple exclusively when we have the goods as most nits will call three streets if they call a big bet OTT, with a few exceptions. Additionally, we can continuously make exploitative adjustments in our favor that our nut peddling opponents are unlikely to pick up on.
But yeah we'll be paying more in rake every hour than the majority of people probably earn at their day job.
If they are super nitty it seems to me like one should also keep sizings in check. 3x instead of 4-5 (I rock 7x regularly at wild tables where trash calls). Keep the pot small when called so you can maneuver more to bluff. You don't risk much with your super wide range that you'll have to fold to aggression but sizing down won't turn a nit into a station so it's worth it.
At the end of the day, it's a bit hard to hoover the blind and dead money full ring. Short handed this would be easier.
Honestly, I think this kind of player pool is what you want to play limit against not NL because ultra tight play is a bigger mistake in limit. A 6-12 or 8/16 game would be better than a 1/2 or 1/3 NL in this situation.
