Hey, I was just wondering if you can beat $1-2 live cash games playing super nitty. I feel people play so poorly that a nitty low variance style would probably work. I'm talking maybe opening ranges of all pockets pairs, AJ+, K10+, etc.

I played yesterday after not playing cash in a while and its so weird when people open limp and some pots are not raise pre-flop. Also I would consider myself a poor live cash player because I probably try to bluff too much and don't play nitty enough (sometimes I'll make a play with a garbage hand out of pure boredom). Is it normal say in cash games to C-bet almost any flop with a high card if you opened pre (or 3bet or maybe raised over some open limpers), and you are only playing against 1-2 players post flop. I've played tournaments mainly online and live and I basically almost c-bet any flop against a small number of players (1-2) and I raised pre and didn't just flat a raise.

Thanks for any advice. I really wanna become a good cash game player as I feel live tournaments are much too time consuming.

Questions are too broad and general to generate good discussion. Please read the best of threads on beating live.

Cliffs: nitty is fine at 1/2 and bluff very rarely, and only when your opponent is good enough to follow your story AND to fold.
