So lately i've been grinding at this pppoker club on the 1/2 and 2/4 tables. The average player here is typically bad . Normal stats are 40/10 or worse , on every table and every seat.

At first it was heaven, I was winning at like 15bb/100 hands over like 15k hands. However because I play against the same group of people everyday, they've started to take notice of my tag style and adjust. For example, they would normally call a double barrel with second pair, maybe even a third barrel, but now let it go and show the fold. It's still not that bad, they'll still call of their stack with 10 10 in a 3 bet pot on a 6 high board, but overall its not as profitable as before. .

My question is, should i be targeting the new players since there's no history? Im assuming as the regulars adjust my winrate will lower. And for the most part, does most of the money in live poker come from the players you have no history with ( the occasional rec ) or does a lot of the money come from playing against bad regulars you have history with.

This seems almost too broad to be able to answer helpfully.

Typically Friday and Saturday nights/early morning are more profitable when there are more fish

If stacks are deep enough to allow for creative play and adjusting your play to villans' adjustments will be more profitable then you should go ahead and adjust your play in ways that make you more profitable. If you're not accustomed to bluffing much, remember you're going to get caught sometimes and try not to be results-oriented when it doesn't work out. The plan is to be as profitable as possible over time and being caught from time to time can help you get paid on your big hands.

If you start tinkering with your natural style, e.g. postflop range and river bluffing frequency then this can affect other parts of your general strategy such as optimal bet-sizing and decisions around whether to value-bet light etc. If you have a conservative image, there is less point in attempting to value-bet light. And you don't necessarily have to change your style radically. It might just be that you pick one or two spots per session to make moves that your opponents previously thought you weren't capable of.

It's never too late to start - when playing vs. a small pool of players, it is +EV to keep history of players HHs. You can do this with a session logger that has a function for keeping hand histories/notes of individual players. Would have been nice to have it 15k hands ago, but it's never too late to start. Of course, if you're playing 4 tables, it's impossible, however, there are numerous vids on youtube on how to maximize the use of H.U.D.
