hero(~$400): viewed as very tight. fit or fold although villain probably does not recognize the fit or fold part.

Villain(~400): He is a doctor. Loves to move chips around. pretty loose with his calls and bets. not afraid to play a big pot with mediocre holdings for the situation. He can easily stack players when he has the goods.

3 limps
Hero raise to $16 w QT in CO
Villain on button min raises to 30!
I immediately rule out AA and KK. I have seen him bomb these hands pre flop. kinda felt like AT+ or 55-99. but i would also include JTs+ and some SC's
just a wierd raise on the button.

2 limpers call and I call

Flop($120): Q94
Checked around to Villain who bets $45
Folds to hero

whats your action?

If you're so confident in your preflop read then 4! this to $125. Lots of dead money in the pot and you should be able to scare away the crap limpers.

As played I'm just check/calling this down re-evaluating each street as I go. Raising will only get you in trouble and you should be good enough to call.

i would probably dump it here because i would likely see aq or kq too often. otherwise i would push all in and try and get some fe

“This is a fine mess that you’ve gotten us into Ollie”

Call and evaluate turn card. What else can you do?

Grunch.

Pre-flop seems fine. I don't normally like playing these hands out of position, but since both other opponents called, there is no way you can fold. I also don't like a four-bet because you don't have any blockers in your hand.

The flop is a tricky spot. Our opponent still has air enough in his range to make a call profitable. I call with the plan to c/f to a turn bet if he continues to bet and we don't pick up any back-door equity. But that depends on opponents double barreling tendency.

I don't think you can c/r the flop because you just have a medium value hand.

I would suggest working through some combos. You will get the most benefit if you do it yourself, but I will tell you that AQ/KQ is a pretty small portion of his c-betting range here.

You can also purchase a program like Flopzilla, but make sure that you understand the math of how it arrives at its calculations first.

He cbets his entire range here. (You wouldn't. But he's not you.) I'd call even if I didn't have tp. This hand starts on the turn.

Good point. That thought did not cross my mind as i was deciding on what to do.
In my mind I basically had 2 options (neither i was a huge fan of)
1. Raise now and if called basically c/f turn and river. (esp. if A or K hit)
2. call now and lead/fold 1/2psb on all non A or K turns. A or K trun im c/f. im probably c/c a A or K turn. I would expect a bet of about $100 from my villain if he turned tpgk or better.

The common theme is I was wanting to put in the last aggro action, then I'm folding if i am met with further aggression from my villain. Is this good thinking?

Would you do this now OTF or wait till the turn?

Preflop call is fine given limpers' calls. If you're sure he's light here, a 4bet squeeze seems fun.

Flop is obvious c/c. Check/eval the turn, hard to get called by worse if you bet.
