1/2, $300 effective

Hero: very tight image. Have won most pots without a showdown.
V1 (Utg): ywg. Solid, tricky player.
V2 (utg +1); ywg, best player at the table. Aggressive but knows when to lay down.
V3 (btn): yig. Calling station, bluff monkey. Has called and made big bets with nothing but a gut shot or A high on a 2 pair board.

V1: raises to 8
V2: calls
V3: calls
Hero: ?

I put V1 on 88+, AJs + based on many hours of play. V2 is 22+ 67s+. V3 I can't even attempt to put on a range.

3b to $300 so you can get it over with. You're probably getting called by everyone like half the time when you make it $30-40. Better get a good flop.

I would raise to $40 w/ position and to $50 without position.

AP I raised to $40 expecting a call from V1 or 2 and 3. Both V1 and V2 have played enough with me to know that I don't 3! light OOP.
V1 calls
V2 calls
V3 folds and V2 looks visibly upset and says he only called because he thought V3 was.so I'm now downgrading V2 range to 22-99 with a lot of ssc and maybe even some Axs.

If board was rainbow there could be some argument towards an exploitative fold imo, but with a flush draw out there you have to call unless you have a really strong and articulatable reason not to

V can have any pair and put you on AK AQ. J52 is as good of a flop as you can ask for. Folding would be terrible. If he flopped a set pay it off, already got half your stack in.

Well thank you for that comment because that just set off the lightbulb. I'm so worried that I'm not making reasonable range assessments of my opponents that I'm forgetting to get to the point of what can V think I have here and yes clearly I could easily have ak, aq, maybe even TT in my range here which he was way ahead of. For anyone results oriented by the way V table AQh.
