I think at the 1/2 stakes, almost everyone is calling their value hands on the river unless its the nuts. Most Villains will happily call with JT instead of raising. I think the bet/fold is a really good plan. Considering how passive the table is and how this Villain has been, alarm bells would be ringing if he raises the river here.

I am here but I think I would size more like $40/fold. Depending on V too, might be merit to check and let V bluff missed draws....thoughts?

I don't think bluffing is part of a passive 1/2 player's repertoire.

This is appalling.

The math gets it in. The line doesn't. Not against anything you beat anyway. Hard to charge draws once they've already bricked out. Worse 2P unlikely. TP probably not calling pot turn/pot river either.

Seems like you are making a lot of assumptions that aren't based on fact.

1. We have 2 more streets to play.
2. We are charging draws on the flop $7 which is 70% of the pot size.
3. In a limped pot, 75,52,T5 and T2 are certainly in SB and CO range.
4. AT or KT will likely call a turn pot sized bet and on good rivers, also could easily call.

There are lots of ways to get stacks in by the river. Betting as little as possible on the flop gets you the least action from worse on this board. I'm not sure what assumptions you think this entails.

Just wondering... What size is not appalling to you?

I'd bet $15 on the flop, 1.25 pot on turn, shove river. Don't f around with good but not unbeatable hands multiway. If they are calling pot they are calling pot+.

River is a perfect bet/fold,choose a sizing that lets you get value and gives you enough to fold if shipped on.
