I'm saying from V5's perspective.

If he has a set, he should be raising (if not leading) the flop. He should not be slow playing.

For the sake of everyone reading this thread:

We cannot take sets out of V5's range because we think he should have raised the flop with them. We can only do that if we think he would have raised the flop with them.

Applying our own thinking to villains we don't know is a leak.

Ummm...it works both ways.

If anything, these spread limit players are much more likely to "overplay" their hands by making big raises on "scary" boards than NL players.

But if your argument is that we can't assess ranges of villain because...we don't know them, then there's really no point discussing this thread.

Clearly math calls for bet/bet/bet.

(You asked early how we should consider V3's line if he had bottom set. I'm taking the similar concept for V5.)

I'm not saying I'm reducing the number of sets in V5's range, from Hero's perspective.
